ABOUT ME
Krys has a BSc in Cellular Pathology, PhD in Immunology and, amongst other things, worked for 14 years as an information specialist in the fields of pharmaceutical and cosmetics testing. (A CV is available on request).
She first worked as a freelance translator during a 5-year residence in ex-Yugoslavia. After returning to the UK, she started translating again on a part-time freelance basis in 2001.
Since 2004, she has been working as a full-time freelance medical and pharmaceutical translator through her own company, Tehuti Knowledge Services.
Apart from the languages used in her work, Krys is also a fluent speaker of and published poet in Esperanto. Currently, she is learning Middle Egyptian as part of a part-time MA course in Ancient Egyptian Culture at Swansea University. Other interests include playing classical and folk music, listening to world music, running (well, run-walking according to Jeff Galloway's programmes) and volunteering at the fabulous Egypt Centre in Swansea.
